At Local Doctors Ōtara, you’ll join an established 24/7 Urgent Care service with a broad mix of acute presentations, experienced clinicians and a highly skilled nursing team around you.

You’ll have the autonomy to practise within your scope, with strong clinical pathways, modern technology and wrap-around support helping you focus on what matters most - making good clinical decisions and caring for your patients.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for an Urgent Care Fellow who wants to practise at their best, contribute to a strong clinical team and continue shaping their career in Urgent Care.

You’ll bring:

• Urgent Care experience and clinical confidence, with the ability to assess and manage a broad range of acute presentations.
• Current MCNZ registration, or eligibility for registration, within the appropriate scope of practice.
• Sound clinical judgement and decision-making, with the confidence to work autonomously and recognise when to draw on the expertise of colleagues.
• A collaborative approach to clinical care, contributing to discussion, shared decision-making and a strong team environment.
• A commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care, with an ongoing focus on developing your practice.
