Tate & Lyle Global Shared Services Centre in Łódź is the principal location for handling the business support activities and processes for Tate & Lyle, both transactional as well as value-added business partnering support. Starting operations in 2011 with less than 50 people, we now have over 350 employees supporting operations globally. We have 30 teams operating in Łódź to provide service in the areas of Finance, Customer Service, Procurement, HR/People Services, and IS/IT

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

The responsibilities of a Travel&Expenses (T&E) trainee typically include a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the processes:

• Supporting the team in ensuring process compliance with internal procedures and guidelines.
• Assisting with updating process documentation (DPMs) under the guidance of senior team members.
• Conducting initial checks in Concur.
• Handling basic daily enquiries related to T&E operations.
• Contributing to meeting departmental targets by working in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and sharing ideas to enhance process efficiency.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the T&E function to support smooth service delivery.
• Taking part in cleansing activities and projects.
• Learning and developing knowledge in T&E.
• Preparing simple regular and ad hoc reports as requested.

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 

• Student status, preferred in Finance and Accounting, Economy, or a related field
• Experience gained in an international organisation (ideally shared services) would be an advantage
• Knowledge of other SSC specific process would be beneficial
• Basic Finance and Accounting knowledge

• Basic skills on MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and in writing
• Additional language will be an advantage.
• SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of T&E processes would be an advantage.
