    Your Opportunity:

    Acrylic Design Associates is looking for an Acrylic Fabricator Machinist to join the team in Plymouth, MN.

    In this role you will join a hands-on production team creating high-quality custom acrylic products. You will fabricate, assemble, and finish acrylic components while working with a variety of tools and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

    Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Cut, shape, assemble, and finish acrylic products using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.

    • Operate equipment such as saws, routers, heat benders, and polishers to create custom parts.

    • Read blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production.

    • Inspect products for quality, appearance, and durability.

    • Sand, polish, and make adjustments to deliver a professional finished product.

    • Work with team members to meet production goals and solve fabrication challenges.

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

    • Perform basic equipment maintenance and help troubleshoot production issues.

    You Must Have:

    • 1 year of experience in acrylic fabrication, woodworking, plastic manufacturing, or a related field.

    • The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively so others can understand you

    • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment (e.g., table saws, routers, polishers).

    • Ability to read technical drawings and work from specifications.

    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

    • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials safely (approximately 40 pounds).

    • Ability to stand on your feet for the entirety of your shift.

    We Would Also Prefer:

    • Experience with CNC machinery and laser cutting.

    • Knowledge of adhesives, solvent welding, and bonding techniques for acrylics.

    • Background in working with other materials like wood, metal, or composites.

    • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.

    The anticipated hourly pay rate for this position is $19.00 - 22.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay rate offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
