Housekeeping - EVS Attendant

                                                 JOB DESCRIPTION

SECTION NO:                          ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

SUBJECT:                                 E.V.S. ATTENDANT

REPORTS TO:              E.V.S. SUPERVISOR   

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Clean slot machine banks, table game pits, and all public area within casino and fort
2. Clean and maintain outside walkways, to include casino main entrance, taxi stand, valet driveway and bus stop
3. Clean restrooms
4. Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
5. Clean mirrors and glass throughout casino
6. Clean escalators and elevators, including tracks
7. Clean back of house area, employee areas and hallways
8. Empty trash receptacles
9. Clean and maintain all Environmental Services storage areas
10. Operate, clean and maintain various cleaning machines; i.e. vacuums, floor machines, etc
11. Report all safety hazards to appropriate personnel
12. May be required to assist other department personnel in facility related duties
13. Comply with company and department policies and procedures
14. Demonstrate interpersonal skills to work productively with others
15. Report for work as scheduled
16. Perform other related duties as assigned
17. Plus any / all tasks deemed necessary by supervisor

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: None

EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

No formal education required.  Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions.  Willingness to work as a team member for the success of the department and Treasure Bay.   Awareness of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.  Excellent customer skills.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

Able to lift in excess of 50 lb. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing 30 lb. or more.  The following activities are normally required to perform these functions:   stand, walk, bend, reach, minimal reading, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, and effective verbal communication.
