Plastic Injection Mold Technicians

Highlight of

Duties:

• Provides technical support to the Plastics Department in regard to process control, troubleshooting, quality and quantity improvement, and training and documentation.
  
• Will start up new tools as well as production tools and process into quality specifications.
  
• Trains set up personnel and machine operators as needed.
  
• Works closely with Quality, Engineering, and Tooling to ensure product conformance.
  
• Monitors machines on a daily basis to detect variations in process and return to established parameters.
  
• Focuses on improving productivity while reducing scrap.
  
• Maintains good housekeeping procedures.
  
• Other duties as needed and directed by the supervisor.

  Requirements of Position:
  * H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. equivalency preferred.
  * Minimum 3 years experience with Injection Molding processing and troubleshooting required.
  * Good communication and organizational skills.
  * Positive team player.
  * Able to read and follow blueprints and technical manuals.
  * Lifting required
