Roles span Project Manager I through Project Manager III. Your level — and your title — are determined by your assessment, not by the role you apply to.

If you have meaningful experience in more than one discipline, apply to your primary discipline and tell your recruiter about your secondary discipline(s) during your Introduction Call. You may be scheduled for a separate Discipline Assessment for each one.

Project Management at TEECOM

TEECOM's Project Managers support the internal operations of engineering teams — working alongside a Team Lead to keep projects running on time, on budget, and on scope. This is an internal-facing coordination role, not a client-facing account management role.

Work includes tracking project schedules and milestones, maintaining project documentation, coordinating across discipline engineers, supporting invoicing and fee tracking, flagging scope and schedule risks to the Team Lead, and helping the team stay organized across multiple concurrent engagements. Project Managers at TEECOM are organized, proactive, and comfortable managing complexity — they keep the operational details in order so engineers can focus on delivering quality work.

At more senior levels, you will take on greater ownership of project operations, support multiple Team Leads simultaneously, contribute to process improvements, and help develop junior project managers on the team.

What We're Looking For

We hire at all levels — the strongest project managers are proactive and coachable: they surface problems early, ask good questions, and take ownership of the operational and financial details without being asked — they don't just track the plan, they keep it on course. If you don’t have everything on this list yet, that’s expected — TEECOM develops people through structured documentation, mentorship, and real project work.

• Experience in project coordination or project management, ideally in a professional services, AEC, or technology consulting environment
• Strong organizational and administrative skills — you keep the project management process visible, on track, and moving forward across multiple concurrent projects
• Financial and resource management experience — tracking budgets, profitability, billing, invoicing, and resource forecasting to catch issues early
• Clear written and verbal communication — you keep the team informed, document decisions, and flag risks before they become bigger problems
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
• Comfort working closely with technical teams — you don't need to be an engineer, but you understand how engineering projects are structured and delivered
• Process-oriented and proactive — you follow established processes, spot gaps before they become problems, and help teams improve consistency and accountability
• Degree in business, project management, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
• PMP certification or equivalent — preferred
