Department: Materials Management

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Materials Supervisor is responsible for managing the supply chain operation within the facility. The Materials Supervisor manages the activities and the personnel who furnish the supplies, equipment and services, to all departments in the most efficient and cost effective manner to ensure uninterrupted patient care. Accountable for building and maintaining relationships with department managers and administrative leadership teams. Represents Materials Department in various committees and meetings. Leads product conversion efforts

Qualifications

Minimum Education:
High school diploma
Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of applicable experience in lieu of degree

Minimum Experience/Skills:
Recent: 2+ years experience in Supply Chain or graduate internship in Supply Chain.
Previous lead, coordinator, or supervisory experience in a Supply Chain role, preferred.
Acute care hospital experience is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, coordinate daily operations, and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
