    Job description

    • Assignment Category: Full Time

    Why Join Us

Tenet Healthcare and The Hospitals of Providence – East Campus invite you to join a growing Maternal-Fetal Medicine program in one of the most dynamic and culturally vibrant cities in the Southwest. You will step into a well-supported clinical environment where in-house billing, coding, and collections free you to focus on what matters most — delivering exceptional care to high-risk mothers and their families. This is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a community with genuine need for subspecialty expertise, backed by the resources and stability of a nationally recognized health system. If you are looking for a role that balances clinical purpose with quality of life, El Paso offers both.

    Position Highlights

    • Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialty practice with a collegial, growing group
    • Outpatient clinic schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Daily patient census of approximately 16 patients per clinic day
    • Inpatient consult volume of 3–4 consults per month
    • Split call coverage: approximately 12–15 days per month, with 98% manageable by phone
    • On-site ultrasound and NST equipment available
    • In-house billing, coding, and collections — no administrative burden on the physician
    • Spanish-speaking skills preferred and valued given the bilingual patient population

    What We Offer

    • Guaranteed base salary with production bonus opportunity
    • Physician time off including vacation and CME with stipend
    • In-house billing, coding, and collections support
    • Malpractice insurance provided
    • Health, dental, and life insurance
    • 401(k) with employer matching
    • Deferred compensation program
    • Relocation assistance

    Candidate Requirements

    • MD or DO degree
    • Board eligible or board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
    • Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
    • Spanish-speaking ability preferred, but not required

    Why El Paso

El Paso consistently earns recognition as one of the safest large cities in the United States, making it an exceptional place to raise a family and put down roots. The city boasts more than 300 days of sunshine per year, a low cost of living, and the added financial benefit of no state income tax in Texas. You will find a rich blend of culture, history, and outdoor adventure — from the Franklin Mountains State Park and scenic Chihuahuan Desert landscapes to vibrant festivals, historic sites, and a thriving culinary scene that reflects the city's deep Borderland heritage. El Paso is home to Division I universities and private colleges, giving families access to strong educational opportunities at every level. With a warm, welcoming community and a pace of life that lets you truly enjoy your time outside the clinic, El Paso is a place where physicians can build a fulfilling career and a meaningful life.
