    Why Join Us

Tenet Healthcare and The Hospitals of Providence – East Campus offer a rare opportunity to build and lead a neurosurgery and endovascular program in one of the fastest-growing corridors in El Paso. You will join a well-resourced system with two strategically positioned campuses — a Primary Stroke Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center — supported by a 12-bed Neuro ICU, two EMUs, and a dedicated Biplane Suite. This is a program-building role designed for a physician who is ready to make a lasting clinical impact and establish themselves as a leader in an expanding market. If you are a driven, entrepreneurial neurosurgeon or endovascular neurologist looking for both clinical depth and institutional support, this is the opportunity you have been waiting for.

    Position Highlights

    • Specialty: Neurosurgery with Endovascular focus; candidates trained in both neurosurgery and endovascular neurology, or endovascular neurology alone, will be considered
    • Procedure volume: 1–2 procedures per day (1 scheduled, 1 emergent); approximately 100 aneurysm cases per year
    • Call schedule: Endovascular neurology call 10–15 days per month; general neurosurgery call approximately 1:4
    • Procedures include: Endovascular intervention, minimally invasive spine, neurodiagnostics, nerve and muscle biopsies, and neurostimulation
    • Facility capabilities: Mechanical thrombectomy, elective aneurysm center designation, designated Neurosciences Center across two campuses
    • Practice setting: Hospital-employed, multi-campus health system with strong infrastructure and subspecialty support
    • Opportunity: Ground-floor program-building role in the fastest-growing area of El Paso

    What We Offer

    • Guaranteed base salary with production bonus potential
    • Physician time off including vacation and CME with stipend
    • Billing, coding, and collections handled in-house — no administrative burden on you
    • Deferred compensation plan
    • Health, dental, and life insurance
    • Malpractice coverage provided
    • 401(k) with employer matching
    • Relocation assistance available

    Candidate Requirements

    • MD or DO degree
    • Board eligible or board certified
    • Training in both neurosurgery and endovascular neurology
    • Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
