Maintains major equipment in the central plant; chillers, boilers, and associated equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and operates boilers, chillers and associated equipment according to established policies and procedures.
- Adheres to regulatory and code requirements. Maintains and operates Co-Generation and associated equipment according to established policies and procedures.
- Adheres to regulatory and code requirements.
- At management’s discretion, performs other related duties consistent with minimum level of preparation and training required and department demands/needs
- Performs related duties as required
Qualifications
Required
- Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred: Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field - Experience Required: Three years of experience with a mechanical contractor or experience as a stationary engineer in a commercial or hospital service environment.
- Certifications Required: Boiler Operators license. Additional licensure as required by state law.
