We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support invoicing, payment processing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail, and build positive relationships with customers while supporting the financial operations of The Amlon Group.
Responsibilities:
- Manager customer accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation using accounting software, NetSuite.
- Perform detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and ensure accurate journal entries in accordance with GAAP and technical accounting standards.
- Conduct credit analysis and negotiate payment terms with customers to facilitate timely collections while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy of debits & credits, and prepare aged receivables reports for management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Accounts Payable, and other operational teams to streamline AR processes.
- Reconcile customer accounts and assist with month-end closing activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone etiquette when addressing client inquiries or resolving billing disputes.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 3 - 5+ years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Experience with cash application processes, including applying customer payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving payment variances.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable functions
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite preferred.
- Excellent math skills combined with attention to detail for data entry and account analysis tasks.
- Effective communication skills with phone etiquette expertise for engaging with clients or internal teams.
Workplace Conditions:
- Employee is required to sit, stand, walk for extended periods.
- Travel will be required if needed to visit company locations across multiple states. Travel by car and airplane will be required.

- This position works in a typical office environment. Safety glasses and closed toe shoes are always required when in the plant or warehouse.
