Customs Clearance Agent (Full-Time)

The BEST Group – a group of Bermudian companies providing services in the fleet, freight, logistics, shipping, trucking, and warehousing industries is looking for an exceptional Customs Clearance Agent to join our Customs Clearance Department on a full-time basis.

The Customs Clearance Agent will be responsible for all aspects of customs clearance including but not limited to:

• Prepare, complete, and submit Bermuda Customs Declaration paperwork (BCD).
• Tracking and adjusting BCD paperwork upon arrival of shipments to Bermuda.
• Liaising with customers and overseas affiliates.
• Liaise with Bermuda Customs as needed to ensure the release of shipments.
• General office duties.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• High competency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have good basic mathematic skills.
• At least three (3) years’ experience in Customs Clearance focused role,
• Good understanding and working knowledge of Customs Tariff and procedures.
• Previous experience with ABC Customs Package would be considered advantageous.
• Must have own transportation.
• Team orientated with the ability to work a flexible part-time schedule.
• Must be able to pass Police vetting.
