Retail Receiving Coordinator

The Retail Receiving Coordinator serves every member of the Retail team (their guests) and is responsible for consistently providing outstanding guest service which includes smiling, making eye contact, using a guest’s name, anticipating the guest’s needs, and offering further service. Transports merchandise from the main loading dock to retail receiving, receives merchandise, places received merchandise in the correct retail stockroom, transports received merchandise to retail outlets, removes trash and recycling from retail receiving, maintains a clean and well organized Retail Receiving area, assists with retail physical inventories as requested by retail management, and other tasks as requested by members of the retail team.This is a Monday through Friday position, must be available to work 9AM until 5PM, including holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Receive merchandise deliveries at the main loading dock and transport them to the retail receiving area.
- Efficiently stock received merchandise in the appropriate retail stockroom.
- Transport merchandise to designated retail outlets within the store.
- Manage the disposal of trash and recycling from the retail receiving area.
- Collaborate with retail management to conduct physical inventories as needed.
- Assist in other duties as assigned by members of the retail team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or receiving role preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Physically able to lift and move heavy merchandise.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
