Job Summary:
The Support Specialist for Technology Services is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware or software to our users. This position requires a high attention to detail along with excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, manage, and prioritize service requests via phone and email
- Troubleshoot and solve basic technical issues
- Configure, image, and deploy hardware according to departmental standards
- Perform basic phone system troubleshooting including wiring and user setup
- Successfully complete daily operations such as credit card processing and point of sale end of day reports
- Gather and analyze information to resolve technical issues
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or a related field
- Familiarity with computer hardware and software
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Experience with a help desk ticketing system is a plus
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
