    Job description

    Company Overview
The Brook Hill Alliance is built on decades of experience beginning with a small international education organization founded in Italy in 1972. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to developing a worldwide network of language programs and empowering scholars through innovative and inclusive educational opportunities. Our global offices in New York, Milan, and London provide students the opportunity to transcend national boundaries and approach new experiences with confidence and curiosity. With each of our programs, we apply more than 50 years of excellence to provide top-tier educational programming to thousands of students across the world each year.
Our mission is to empower students to connect with the world through language and cultural exchange. We strive to create dynamic in-person and online education opportunities that cultivate confident, well-rounded global learners. By encouraging new perspectives and fostering open-mindedness, we prepare our students to engage with the wider world thoughtfully and responsibly. We aim to equip each and every Brook Hill scholar with the skills and mindset to build bright futures as global citizens.

We are offering an opportunity for teacher trainees to gain experience teaching online: to fulfill teaching practice (practicum/internship) requirements for certificate or degree programs, to gain more virtual classroom experience to further their teaching career, and to have the opportunity to observe professionally-taught lessons in conjunction with teaching practice. Online instruction occurs in a live video format (on Zoom) so that students can interact with their instructor and peers, doing partner and group work and participating in all-class discussions. • Additional, recorded lessons taught by professional instructors for your observation (if needed).

Classes are generally held between the hours of 10:00am-2:30pm EST / 7:00am-11:30am PST on weekdays.
Interns are scheduled based on their availability. Class days, times, and weeks are subject to enrollment.
    Minimum Time Requirement
The internship length is a minimum of 15 hours, including at least 5 hours of observing classes taught by professional teachers and at least 10 hours of teaching practice.
