• Assist mechanics with diagnosing and repairing machinery and equipment
• Gather and organize tools and parts and or materials to complete job-related tasks
• Perform basic maintenance such as lubrication, filter replacements and, cleaning equipment
• Remove and replace simple components under supervision
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely
• Maintain maintenance records and complete basic documentation
• Follow safety procedures and company policy

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new procedures.
• Strong attention to safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy parts and work in various environmental conditions.
• Ability to work in cold temperature environments as low as -40 degrees.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
