    Transport Officer
    Waverley Court

    Salary: £40,501 - £47,639
    Hours: 36 per week

    Our Planning service is continuing to be innovative to make the service fit for the future and be fully able to support the significant change Edinburgh faces in the years ahead. We are developing new ways of working and want to enhance our relationship with our customers and stakeholders.

    We're a skilled, agile, multidisciplinary team of professionals working to create sustainable places where people can live their best lives.

    We are looking for an individual to join our team as a Transport Officer within the Specialist Team, you will be committed to delivering an efficient, effective and customer-focused Planning service and delivering great places.  The role covers transport input to a varied and challenging range and volume of planning cases, involvement with road construction consents, Quality Audits, stopping up orders, as well as strategy and policy work.

    You will be contributing to change and improvement, and responsible for your own professional development.

    Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
