The Job
For our first ever-signed restaurant MOMO Amsterdam, we are looking for an amazing, hands-on, passionate Sous Chef. The MOMO “family” is always striving for perfection; sparing no effort to obtain the very best products the world has to offer. From the decorations on the walls to the array of beautiful ingredients with each their own particular palate.

MOMO’s executive chef who is also the culinary mastermind of all concepts of The Entourage Group, created the menu of subtle Asian flavours with the sophistication of Western cuisine. Highly creative dishes honour ingredients. Flavour and textures work together in the most vibrant and light recipes. Among them are MOMO’s signature dishes like the black cod with spicy miso, and the MOMO roll with tuna, salmon, sea bass, avocado and tarragon miso.

Our Sous Chef strives to deliver the superior level of guest service that we are known for. They are hardworking, dedicated, and uphold exceptional culinary standards. Responsabilities & Requirements

• Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute menu items, ensuring consistency and quality

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation

• Supervise and lead kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed

• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen

• Assist in menu development, taking into consideration culinary trends and guest preferences

• Manage inventory, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources

• Participate in the hiring and onboarding of kitchen staff

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the kitchen team

• Previous experience in a similar high-end restaurant as a Sous Chef

• Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays

• You have your Visa / Work Permit to work in The Netherlands.

• Excellent communication skills

• Located in Amsterdam or nearby

• Ability to multitask
