Job Description
Job Summary
At The Royal Stables Private Members Club in Abu Dhabi, we are looking for a creative and accomplished Bartender / Mixologist to deliver distinctive and personalized beverage experiences for our members and guests. The role combines expert mixology, contemporary beverage knowledge, and refined service to create signature experiences that reflect the quality and character of the Club.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve classic, contemporary, and signature cocktails to consistently high standards of taste, presentation, and craftsmanship.
- Engage with members and guests to understand preferences and provide tailored beverage recommendations.
- Contribute to the creation and evolution of cocktail menus, seasonal concepts, and signature beverage experiences.
- Maintain strong knowledge of premium spirits, wines, ingredients, techniques, and emerging beverage trends.
- Ensure the bar is fully prepared, stocked, organized, and presented to the highest standards throughout service.
- Monitor beverage inventory, stock rotation, product quality, and wastage while supporting effective cost control.
- Collaborate with the wider Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless service and memorable member experiences.
- Maintain responsible beverage service and comply with applicable licensing, hygiene, health and safety, and Club procedures.
Desired Skill & Expertise
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Professional bartending, mixology, or relevant beverage certification is preferred.
- 2–4 years of bartending or mixology experience, preferably within a private members club, luxury dining, premium bar, or high-end hospitality environment.
- Advanced knowledge of cocktails, spirits, mixology techniques, flavour profiles, and beverage presentation.
- Creative approach to beverage development with a strong awareness of contemporary trends.
- Refined communication and member engagement skills with the ability to personalize recommendations.
- Strong commercial awareness, including inventory management, cost control, and responsible upselling.
- Detail-oriented, composed, and consistent, with a passion for beverage craftsmanship and service excellence.
