STARTING PAY: commensurate with experience
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Service and Support Supervisor Certification – Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities (can be obtained upon hire); valid Ohio Driver's License - Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; must meet and maintain Board/Ohio School Plan insurability standards for driving
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises assigned employees through direct observation, regularly scheduled supervisory sessions and review of records; routinely reviews Service Coordinators’ progress notes and other written documentation; provides/coordinates orientation and training; rates probationary and annual performance evaluations; recommends leave requests; assists Director of Service Coordination in counseling assigned employees related to performance; Coordinates, supervises and ensures the provision of quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities
Provides services to clients and families as needed and as back up for assigned employees; advocates for client rights and needs; refers clients to appropriate providers/agencies as needed; assures compliance with all relevant laws, rules, statutes, policies and procedures; Attends or coordinates assigned committees, planning groups or task forces; assists in Conflict Resolution Process; serves as a liaison between Service Coordinator and clients or community agencies as necessary
Develops Service Coordination policies and procedures and updates as needed; completes necessary paper work, reports and documentation; Assists Director of Service Coordination in crisis situations as needed; serves as on-call staff
Oversees Service Coordination residential functions including frequent interactions with Creative Housing and community housing partners.
Performs other related duties as assigned
This position contributes to the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS)
