- Implement the Production Fulfillment Process steps related to the fabrication of parts according to work order and customer requirements. Ensures machinery is set up, works properly, and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Operate multiple types of fabrication equipment:
- Operates tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts.
- Places and secures work pieces in proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface using clamps and wrenches.
- Load, operate and manufacture a variety of parts using various manufacturing equipment to make custom parts according to customer orders and instructions written on Work Orders and blueprints
- Complete project work as needed involving the assembly of parts that require the use of hand tools, paint accessories and mechanical devices
- Complete work order paperwork
- Perform in-process inspection according to standard procedures
- Maintain count and perform packaging duties as required
- Participate in cross training activities to become knowledgeable of equipment/process within the department
- Perform routine daily machine maintenance including cleaning up and lubrication
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide guidance, feedback and positive behavior modeling The Gund Company culture of care:
- Determine if tools are undamaged and in safe condition for use
- Make suggestions to improve production and order processing efficiency
- Assist with training other team members
- Follow safety rules and quality standards
