The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is We're actively seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – HCJPD who wants to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families struggling with mental illness. Under the administrative and clinical supervision of the PES (Psychiatric & Emergency Services) Medical Director, this position will provide psychiatric treatment including, but not limited to psychiatric evaluations, medication maintenance, and crisis intervention, to Juveniles within the Harris Conty Juvenile Detention Center. This position works with an engaging multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, social services, and other physician team members with both The Harris Center and Harris County Juvenile Probation Department (HCJPD) to deliver meaningful care to an underserved patient population.
