Interest in Working at The Hunger Coalition

Thank you for showing interest in working at The Hunger Coalition! You have reached our Talent Pool application portal where we keep a conversation with potential future candidates going and possibly even connect you with other local non-profit opportunities. What does this look like?

1. We will reach out to you within a week or so initially via phone or email
2. If you seem like a good fit or have some skills or passion we've been looking for, we will keep you in our talent pool for future openings

We believe in community. And we know that passionate people like you are the strength of our community. At The Hunger Coalition, we build leaders who embrace a growth mindset, who are self-motivated and self-disciplined, who are committed to learning and development, and who thoughtfully and creatively risk-take to innovate solutions to our community's deepest gaps.

Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women/other underrepresented individuals only apply when they meet 100% of them. We believe that people of color, people from working class backgrounds, women, and LGBTQ+ people must be centered in the work we do. Hence, we strongly encourage applications from people with these identities, or who are members of other marginalized communities.

If you think you have what it takes, possess transferable skills, are quick to learn, but don’t necessarily satisfy every requirement or meet every qualification, we would love to hear from you!
