The Opportunity
The Children’s Diabetes Centre of The Kids Research Institute Australia, together with the Diabetes Service of Perth Children’s Hospital, is an integrated research and clinical centre. The key focus of our work is to improve the health of children, adolescents and young people living with type 1 diabetes. We have a rare opportunity for a leader in digital health to join the team to oversee the Data research program of the Centre.
Reporting to the Children’s Diabetes Centre Co-Directors, you will manage a comprehensive program of work focused on the development and implementation of patient, clinical and researcher facing digital solutions, leading cross-functional teams, managing vendor partnerships, and ensuring that ethical and regulatory requirements are met.

This is a varied role and a great opportunity to join a dynamic research environment, where the research is translated into meaningful outcomes for families.
Based within Perth Children’s Hospital in Nedlands, this full-time role will offered for an initial 2-year period. Part-time (0.8 FTE) will be considered for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a health or research environment and program/project management, and a sound understanding of data platforms, analytics, and digital health solutions.
