Food Runner Job Responsibilities:
- Greets and communicates with members in a warm, courteous, and prompt manner
- Deliver food to tables promptly and professionally
- Announce menu items when presenting food to members and guests
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service teams regarding order status
- Support servers by assisting with table maintenance and guest needs
- Proficient in tray and tray jack service as well as hand service
- Anticipate member needs to provide an exceptional dining experience
- Effectively manage member concerns, demonstrates excellent customer/member service
- Assist with clearing plates and resetting tables as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
- Completes food safety programs successfully within 30 days of hire
- Adheres to all written food handling procedures, as well as general safety practices
- Works a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to assist other team members in their duties
- Complies with departmental and club appearance standards
- Complies with departmental and club policies
- Performs all other duties assigned by any TLGAC manager
Food Runner Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Food Runner Physical Requirements:
- Standing and walking for 100% of shift
- Lifting, carrying, moving from 1 pound up to 50 pounds
- Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout shift
