    This hands-on opportunity will allow you to gain experience in one or more of the following areas:</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Adversary Emulation</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Deception and Adversary Engagement</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Cyber Effects and Reverse Engineering</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Cyber Forensics</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Cyber Threat Intelligence</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Operational Technology Engineering and Response</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Internet of Things (IoT) and Mobile Device Security</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Engineering and Architecting Safe, Secure, and Resilient Systems</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Cyber Policy Development</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><p><b><span>Basic Qualifications</span></b><span> </span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree program in a Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related disciplines.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Must continue to be enrolled the semester following the internship.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Foundational knowledge in cybersecurity and/or information security methodologies, frameworks,<span> </span></span><span>tools</span><span><span> </span>and/or programming languages.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Must have sustained excellence in academic performance.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span>This position has an on-site requirement of 3 days a week minimum.</span></p></li></ul></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><p><b><span>Preferred Qualifications</span></b><span> </span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Experience having applied cybersecurity or information security learning in an internship, research, or lab setting.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Proficiency</span><span><span> </span>using cybersecurity and/or information security methodologies, frameworks,<span> </span></span><span>tools</span><span><span> </span>and/or programming languages.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Familiarity with cybersecurity operations and/or the development of cyber policies.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Proven ability to work independently.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Demonstrated interest in serving the public through<span> </span></span><span>previous</span><span><span> </span>work experience, volunteer activities, or other relevant engagements.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><p><b><span>Clearance:<span> </span></span></b><span><span>In addition to passing MITRE’s employment background check, you may be<span> </span></span><span>submitted</span><span><span> </span>for a U.S.
