The Admin Hub is a coworking floor for administrative staff. We are seeking student workers to provide front-desk and operational support at 79 Fifth Avenue / 17th Floor Admin Hub. The role serves as the primary point of contact for staff using the space and supports the day-to-day operations of the Hub.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet visitors and assist staff with locating and check-in to their reserved spaces
• Provide tours of the Admin Hub to staff as needed.
• Respond to basic staff inquiries in person, by phone, or by email and direct questions to [email protected] as appropriate.
• Assist staff with locating and using lockers; monitor lockers for compliance with Hub usage guidelines and report issues to Hub Operations Manager.
• Monitor the Hub throughout the day and report maintenance, cleaning safety or facilities issues to the Hub Manager.
• Submit facilities service requests through the appropriate University system as directed.
• Maintain pantry and office supplies, including stocking supplies, conducting periodic inventory checks, updating the inventory spreadsheet and notify Hub Operations Manager of low stock.
• Receive, unpack and properly store supply deliveries.
• Monitor pantry and shared areas throughout the day, address basic tidiness needs, and report cleaning or maintenance issues as appropriate.
• Distribute and track specialty equipment and other shared gear through the lending system.
• Report technology or equipment issues to IT Central and notify the Hub Operations Manager.
• Monitor printers for unclaimed items, especially documents containing sensitive information and address or escalate issues as appropriate.
• Assist Hub Operations Manager with administrative tasks, research, printing and projects that support Admin Hub and Space + Events operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
• Effective verbal and communication skills
• Ability to work reliably according to an established weekly schedule
• Self-starter, who is comfortable working independently
• Ability to take direction, manage assigned responsibilities and follow tasks through to completion
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• Comfort learning and using technology and workplace systems

WORK MODE:
On-Campus Position - Employees in this position are expected to work on-campus during regularly scheduled work hours due to the nature of the work. #LI-DNI

HOURLY RATE: $17 per hour
