Position Description
In this role, you will serve on the Joint Staff Support Center (JSSC) Information Technology Support Services (JSSC-ITSS) contract as a Nuclear Planning and Execution System (NPES) Systems Administrator at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC), Blue Ridge Summit, PA. The NPES Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the hardware and software supporting the Site-R NPES server/client baseline and providing Tier I/II/III IT operations support. The position performs systems operations, administration, and maintenance; client and server operations; backup and recovery; storage administration; system patching; troubleshooting; technical documentation; configuration management; and cybersecurity compliance activities necessary to maintain the availability and operational readiness of the NPES environment. The position requires the ability to work with minimal direction, apply extensive technical expertise, independently resolve complex technical problems, and provide subject matter expertise in support of mission-critical information systems.
