Line Cook - We Do Days! No Nights!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in preparing delicious meals according to our menu. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food, maintaining a clean workstation, and assisting with food inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- A team player with good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
- Cook food in various utensils or grillers
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
