POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are hiring for a 7th Grade Math Classroom Instructor for the 2026-27 School Year. The Classroom Instructor has the primary responsibility for providing direct service to students, consulting with other professionals, and consulting and discussing issues with parents. The teacher plans, delivers, and evaluates instructional outcomes and conducts the research needed to perform the essential functions of the position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain classroom environment with a high degree of discipline and structure.
- Conduct research and learn about current educational trends and research.
- Plan and deliver data--driven instruction using teacher--directed instruction, project based learning and other methodologies that are appropriate for the students assigned.
- Conduct assessments that are research based and appropriate for the students assigned.
- Provide corrective feedback to students and re--teach as necessary to ensure that the students have mastered the objectives.
- Conduct research, read professional literature, and reflect in the subject area of assignment.
- Communicate with parents of enrolled students.
- Implement the approved course curriculum.
- Implement modifications reflected in a student’s Individualized Education Program as required.
- Collaborate with other school staff to maximize the functions of the position.
- Complete assigned administrative tasks related to these functions.
- Utilize preventive discipline methodology with students.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned by the School Director and other Soulsville Management.
