We are looking for a dependable, organized, and personable HR & Administrative Coordinator to join our team in a full-time position in Delafield, WI. This role is approximately 50% Human Resources and 50% administrative support, providing an opportunity to work closely with employees, managers, and company leadership.
The HR portion of the position will provide day-to-day support for our employees and managers, including onboarding, employee records, recruiting coordination, benefits administration, employee communications, employee engagement, and other HR-related activities.
The administrative portion of the position will provide day-to-day support to the Owner and company by taking ownership of routine administrative responsibilities and helping keep information, paperwork, projects, and office operations organized.

What You'll Do
Human Resources Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist with new employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Support recruiting activities, including job postings, applicant communication, interviews, and new employee paperwork.
- Assist with benefits administration and respond to routine employee questions.
- Serve as a resource to employees and managers regarding routine HR questions and processes.
- Coordinate employee recognition and engagement activities.
- Help administer the company's Employee Mentorship Program.
- Maintain HR forms, policies, procedures, and employee resources.
- Assist with employee communications and HR-related initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and documentation as needed.
- Help ensure HR processes are handled consistently, professionally, and confidentially.
- Recognize and appropriately escalate sensitive employee relations, performance, or other HR matters to management.
- Assist with HR projects and process improvements as the company's needs evolve.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the Owner and company.
- Take ownership of routine administrative tasks currently handled by the Owner.
- Organize and maintain company records, documents, files, and information.
- Assist with correspondence, data entry, spreadsheets, reports, and paperwork.
- Assist with scheduling, meetings, and company activities.
- Assist with invoices, forms, office supplies, and other routine administrative needs.
- Research information and assist with special projects.
- Track follow-up items and help ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide administrative support to managers and departments as needed.
- Assist with company events, meetings, and other organizational activities.
Experience & Education
Previous experience in Human Resources, office administration, payroll, benefits, recruiting, or a related role is preferred. Experience working in both HR and administrative functions is a strong plus.
A certificate, coursework, or formal education in Human Resources is strongly preferred. Formal HR education demonstrates a commitment to the profession and provides a valuable foundation for this position. Relevant hands-on HR experience may be considered in place of formal HR education.
