About the role
Equity Student Ambassadors play an important role at Notre Dame. As representatives of the University, they assist with the delivery of the Future You program and other outreach activities including, on-campus days, and mentoring. These activities offer opportunities for future students to identify their strengths and see university as a viable and exciting pathway!
Student Ambassadors are employed as casual staff at Notre Dame, provided with induction and training for the role, and offered work on an ad hoc basis throughout the year based on their availability and skill set.
Student Ambassadors are paid at the applicable HEW 2.1 casual hourly rate for New South Wales or Western Australia, based on the successful candidate’s location. The role may require travel to and from high schools and other venues across either Greater Sydney or Perth.
Student Ambassadors regularly engage with students from groups that have traditionally been underrepresented in university education, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, students from low socio-economic backgrounds, students from regional and remote areas, and those who would be the first in their family to attend university. We strongly encourage students from these backgrounds to apply and bring their unique perspectives and experiences to the role.
Student Ambassadors may undertake work with one or more of the following teams.
