    Job description

    Our Merchandise Planning team sit across all our product divisions in the business, spanning Home & Apparel, Grocery & Health & Beauty and Sporting, Leisure and Outdoors and more. These roles are key to connect strategy to execution, ensuring we have the right products, in the right place, at the right time for Kiwi customers.

    Senior Merchandise Planners 

    Lead a complex, high-value portfolio and shape commercial performance at scale. You’ll set forecasting, demand and inventory strategies that maximise sales, margin and availability while managing risk and protecting profitability. Working closely with Buying, Supply Chain and key stakeholders, you’ll turn sharp analysis into confident trading decisions and mentor 1–2 Associate Merchandise Planners to build a high-performing, customer-first planning culture.

    Merchandise Planners 

    Own the commercial and inventory performance of your categories, turning strategy into forecasts, open-to-buy plans and smart seasonal decisions. You’ll stay close to weekly trade, moving quickly on risks and opportunities to optimise sales, margin, availability and stock. Partnering across Buying, Supply Chain, Allocation and Finance, you’ll use strong commercial judgement and data-led insights to deliver better outcomes for our customers and the business.

    You know retail planning and understand what drives great commercial and customer outcomes. Whether you’re growing your career (with at least 2 – 3 years planning experience) or bringing extensive experience, you can translate category strategy and customer needs into smart, actionable decisions. You’ll thrive in an environment without a fixed playbook, using your commercial judgement, analytical skills collaborative style and influencing skills to deliver results!
