How You Will Make an Impact

As a Team Leader in Manufacturing Operations, you will guide and develop a high-performing team while ensuring excellence in safety, quality, and production efficiency. You will have approximately 30 direct reports and coordinate department activities across shifts to meet production schedules and equipment efficiency requirements while maintaining strict adherence to cGMP standards.

This role combines people leadership with strategic operational oversight to deliver important products that help our customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Working closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other support functions, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimize workflows, and cultivate a culture of safety and quality excellence.

You will manage daily production activities, conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and training, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while maintaining optimal cost-benefit ratios.

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules as business needs require is also required.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will:

• Lead, coach, and develop a manufacturing team of approximately 30 direct reports.
• Coordinate department activities across shifts to meet production schedules and equipment efficiency requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to cGMP standards, quality systems, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other support functions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimize production workflows.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Manage daily production activities and ensure production goals are achieved efficiently.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and training to team members.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Support production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
• Lead investigations, CAPAs, and change control processes.
• Implement and sustain standard work and 5S practices.
• Maintain an optimal cost-benefit ratio while meeting production and quality expectations.
• Collaborate effectively across functions to resolve issues and build consensus.

Minimum Requirements

• Advanced degree with 3+ years of manufacturing operations experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of manufacturing operations experience, including 1+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in a GMP, ISO, or other regulated manufacturing environment.
• Leadership experience managing teams of 15–25 people.
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Expertise in production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
• Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive process improvements.
• Experience with quality systems, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules as business needs require.
• Physical ability to perform manufacturing floor activities and work in cleanroom environments.
• Experience leading investigations, CAPAs, and change control processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build consensus.
• Experience implementing standard work and 5S practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $27.41–$45.68.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
