What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an innovative and engaging Assistant Store Manager for our Thirdlove store in Valley Fair Mall, in Santa Clara, CA. This leader will support and inspire their team, foster exceptional customer experiences, and drive sales to achieve business goals. They will embody ThirdLove’s values while ensuring operational excellence and a welcoming store environment. As a key part of the leadership team, they will also collaborate on store-driven initiatives with the Store Manager and  HQ team.  

What You Will Own And How You Will Make A Difference 

Sales & Profitability: Partner with the Store Manager to develop and execute strategies that drive sales and customer engagement. Assist in achieving store sales goals, maximizing KPIs, and fostering customer loyalty to drive profitability. 

Team Leadership: Inspire and help coach a team to deliver exceptional in-store experiences and foster a positive, high-energy environment. Function as the Store Manager in their absence, taking responsibility for day-to-day store operations and team leadership. Support recruiting efforts to attract top talent for Sales Associate roles, helping with timely onboarding and development. 

Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth store operations, by overseeing tasks such as inventory management, visual merchandising, and implementing technology or process improvements. Provide seamless customer support, including resolving product inquiries and aftercare. 

Adaptability: Stay agile and adaptable, learning and leveraging new technologies and systems like Shopify, Incite, and Google Office to optimize performance. Maintain flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and events

Budget Management: Contribute to payroll and scheduling oversight to align staffing with business needs while managing costs effectively. 

Customer Experience: Maintain a strong focus on delivering an exceptional supported customer experience by creating a warm, welcoming, and personalized fitting and shopping experience in line with the Retail Excellence Protocol, ensuring the store reflects ThirdLove's standards. Support fit consultations, product education, and conversion through proactive, client-focused behaviors.

Event Execution: Partner with the Store Manager and HQ to execute marketing initiatives and in-store events to drive traffic, customer engagement and sales growth. 

You Have

• 2+ years of direct management experience
• 3+ years of customer service and/or retail experience; background in similar category preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to maintain an active store presence, including standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Comfort with using a ladder and lifting a maximum of 50lbs
• Experience with bra fitting and fit guidance, or willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule (including nights, weekends, holidays)

Problem-Solving Skills: Confidence in ability to handle returns, answer complaints, and fix minor floor issues calmly.

Compensation

$24-$26 per hour
