We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Gen AI to join our Innovation Team. In this role, you will play a vital part in designing, developing, and maintaining state-of-the-art web applications. You will work with a diverse group of talented professionals in a dynamic, start-up-like environment, helping to shape the future of digital solutions. This position will be based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania as a hybrid role that has a requirement of working three days a week in the office.

- Engage effectively with our counterparts in the Dublin and Cluj AI teams.
- Operationalise prototypes developed by the Dublin or local AI teams.
- Ensure seamless handover of operationalised prototypes to business technology teams.
- Thrive as a collaborative developer in an Agile environment.
- Embrace a lifelong learning mindset, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Establish and maintain best practice development frameworks and standards, such as Prompt Engineering.
- Develop practices and guidelines to improve consistency and reuse of solutions.
What you need to have:
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Romanian.
- Basic understanding of AI concepts and be able to talk about a personal or professional project involving AI, including your approach and the reasoning behind it.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in a modern frontend framework, ideally React (Vue or Angular are also great).
- Hands-on experience with NestJS / NodeJS or a similar technology stack.
- Experience with or knowledge of Python.
- Strong comprehension of RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques.
- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- A creative, problem-solving mindset that drives your work.
