This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of consistent messaging for a variety of communication platforms by researching and drafting thoughtful, concise, action-driven, and/or inspiring content in support of one or more Thryv products and/or marketing strategies. As a client-facing position, Content Specialists play a key role in both content execution and account management. Content Specialists oversee campaign strategy, optimization, and performance outcomes while providing clear communication and proactive support that drive measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Produces on-going, external-facing content by researching, verifying facts, identifying trends, and conducting interviews of customers, industry experts, product specialists, and other resident gurus.
• Collaborates with others across marketing and product teams to ensure consistency in message, writing style, brand voice, and tone across all communications channels.
• Stays up to date on industry activity to provide story-line pitches and content-driven project ideas to help build and contribute to a robust content strategy.
• Identifies trends, statistics, and relevant strategies within the industry, conveying complex or technical ideas in common, understandable language that embodies the company voice and champions small businesses.
• Contributes to creative direction by collaborating with design and copy teams to produce effective ad content.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required.
• Requires 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong ability to become an expert on Thryv products and related marketing strategies.
• Ability to identify trends, concepts, and significant statistical information to boost effectiveness of content and propel Thryv’s thought leadership position.
• Proven ability to write clean, compelling, concise, and grammatically correct copy that engages intended audiences.
• Highly creative with the ability to take ownership of writing projects with an eye for brand and design.
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize industry related tools (Basic HTML/CSS, WordPress, Google and/or Adobe analytics, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively tailor to various target markets and demographics.
• Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
