DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Jericho Road Community Health Center is actively seeking a Director of Information Technology. This position is full-time, within the IT Department, working at our 166 Barton location with the expectation of travel between all sites.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, document, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations.
- Develop and maintain network architecture standards, diagrams, and documentation.
- Lead network expansion, relocation, and integration projects.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
- Ensure scalability and performance of network systems to support organizational growth.
- Manage routing, switching, wireless networking, SD-WAN, VPN, and internet connectivity.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity utilization.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Coordinate maintenance windows, upgrades, and equipment replacements.
- Maintain network redundancy and high-availability configurations.
- Administer and optimize firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, network access controls, and security monitoring tools.
- Implement network segmentation strategies to protect clinical and business systems.
- Support HIPAA, HITECH, HRSA, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
- Oversee all organizational telecom platforms
- Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing remediation, and cybersecurity audits.
- Collaborate with security teams to investigate and resolve security incidents.
- Serve as a primary technical liaison for network and telecommunications vendors.
- Manage ISP relationships, circuit implementations, and telecommunications contracts.
- Lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and support.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and technical specifications.
- Participate in after-hours support and incident response activities
- Provide technical leadership during critical outages and disaster recovery events
- Supervise IT Department staff, providing evaluations, coaching, and ensuring coverage
- Train staff on implementation and use of recent technology, programs, or platforms
- Assist and guide Tier 1 support to troubleshoot problems and develop solutions
- Manage all aspects of organizations ticketing system, conducting time studies to determine efficiency of response time
- Maintain, update, and ensure that cybersecurity and technology policies are current and followed
- Facilitate communication between the IT department, leadership, and agency staff
- Commit to regular attendance and participation in senior leadership and agency committees, providing insights and aligning departmental goals with organizational objectives
- Actively participate in cross-functional projects to support JRCHC (Jericho Road Community Health Center) operations while demonstrating the ability to work as a team member
Qualifications:
- MS in Computer Sciences, IT (Information Technology), or related discipline preferred; Bachelor’s will be considered with relevant experience
- Certifications, such as the following, will be considered in lieu of education requirements
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
- Fortinet NSE
- Palo Alto PCNSE (or later framework)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- AWS Advanced Networking Specialty
- Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Exemplary customer service and work under pressure in consistently evolving projects while maintaining flexibility
- Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Experience distilling complex technical issues to non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of budgeting process and ability to determine quality of products and services with attention to conservative spending as needed
- 7+ years of progressively responsible network engineering and/or leadership experience
- 4+ years supporting enterprise healthcare or highly regulated environments preferred
- Experience supporting multi-site organizations
- Experience leading infrastructure projects and vendor engagements

Rate: $90,000-$110,000 salaried. Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components.
