Truss Department Associate 2nd Shift

Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC, a growing Lumber and Building Materials company, is seeking an experienced Truss Department Associate. Under direct supervision the qualified candidate will perform a variety of yard activities.

Responsibilities:

Receive and review job list, created by the truss department, and map for efficiency. Visit each job site, take pictures to send back to the truss department, with a written note on the status of the job. Review materials loaded against invoice or requisition; complete and route paperwork appropriately Move product/material throughout the yard ensuring placement in correct areas All other duties as assigned Experience Required: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and six months experience with performing these or similar tasks; or equivalent combination of training, education and experience Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of various types of lumber Knowledge of safety procedures while performing tasks Strong customer service skills Knowledge of company products/inventory available at work location Ability to read and understand invoices and requisitions
