About Role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to a variety of teams within Howden Re by organizing travel arrangements, compiling and submitting expense reports, preparing client meeting documents, and planning client meetings
- Assists with general office operations and maintains organization through supply management, kitchen and conference room management, and coordinating office maintenance needs
- Assists with coordinating office visitor schedules and in-office catering needs
- Drives culture and facilitates relationships through overseeing guest experience and interaction with broader Howden Re team to better understand office needs
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two or more years’ experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
- Ability to work on-site in our Edina office full time
- Positive attitude and desire to facilitate an energetic culture that serves a high functioning team
- Strong organizational and time management skills. - Multi-tasking ability and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise across teams and executives
- Desire to learn and grow
- Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in handling challenges
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
