The people who love food are the best people, but in the busy humdrum of life, it isn’t very often that we have the time to venture out to our favourite places and relish the best that they have to offer. We at TinyOwl, have taken up the task to ease the food ordering process, making available a huge variety of restaurants to order from with a few taps on your smartphone. So that the customer never feels deprived of various delicacies due to paucity of time.
We care utmost about the UI/UX because that is what sets us apart. An outstanding food ordering experience is what we promise our users and we strive hard to set high standards. Understanding customers is supreme for us because we, subsequently use this knowledge to serve them better.
As an UI/UX designer, you are instrumental in connecting our customers to the restaurants through this much loved application. You will be working on improving the app flow, visual designing and understanding user sensibilities to make the app easier to use. A gist of challenges include user research and addressing issues through changes in UI design, understanding user requirements and technical limitations to create wireframes and UI mockups. You work closely with the development team on the native iOS and Android applications and create new designs and refine existing ones.
What you should have
1) Great learning curve. You must be able to reflect user feedback with changes in UI designs
2) Passion to create a great experience for users
3) Proficiency with Photoshop & Illustrator. Knowledge of HTML/CSS and Flash is a plus
4) Keen design and aesthetic sense, and attention to detail.
5) Curiosity for new technologies and emerging trends in design.
6) You’ve got to be a foodie

The icing on the cake is that you get a hands on knowledge about different aspects of a startup like Marketing, Business Development etc. You can suggest the marketing team a cool tagline for the next campaign or your technical expertise may come handy to get out the operations team out of a dilemma!
