As Team Leader for Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) Accounting in Private Equity and Capital Markets, you will play a pivotal role in managing the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of private equity and capital markets investments. This position combines management, technical accounting expertise, collaboration and communication skills. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with HGB, IFRS, German corporate and tax law, supporting investment lifecycle activities such as acquisitions, exits, and restructurings.
In Partnership with the Head of Client Accounting you will lead a team of skilled accountants, fostering a high-performance culture focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous personal and professional development. Your role will also involve close interaction with external stakeholders such as asset managers, fund controllers, and senior leadership, as well as external auditors and service providers. You will drive initiatives to automate and standardize accounting processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and support digital transformation within the finance function.
You will ensure all tasks are appropriately allocated across your collaborators to meet deadlines and client’s expectations This is a highly visible role that requires a proactive and growth mindset, strong analytical and technological skills, as well as problem avoiding / solving abilities. You will also need to be highly organized, pay close attention to detail and be keen to cope with multiple tasks, priorities, requirements and deadlines.
This role is based at our Frankfurt Office with the possibility to work hybrid.
