Currently, we are looking for an Executive Legal Associate for SBSB Fintech lawyers.
About our client
We are a legal consultancy specializing in high-risk industries: iGaming, Crypto, FinTech, and Brokerage. Our clients are international businesses that don't need just lawyers — they need trusted advisors capable of solving the most complex structural, licensing, and regulatory challenges across multiple jurisdictions.
What you will do

• Own full client lifecycle from start to finish, including complex international licensing projects

• Design and implement sophisticated ownership structures, investment schemes, and tax arrangements

• Architect multi-jurisdictional setups across intersecting legal frameworks

• Prepare Legal Opinions, memoranda, and comprehensive corporate policies

• Resolve deadlocked situations with foreign regulators, Tier-1 banks, and agents

• Mentor and oversee Junior Lawyers and Paralegals within your project portfolio

• Independently consult clients and convert engagements into cross-sales and new contracts

What we are looking for

• 3–5 years in international corporate and financial law: structuring, gambling/crypto licensing, M&A

• A proven track record of complex licensing projects delivered personally to completion — not just supporting roles

• Law degree

• English B2+/C1: confident client calls, negotiations with foreign banks, agents, and regulators; fluent Ukrainian and Russian

• Understanding of how legal decisions impact client profitability and company revenue; awareness of NPS and Retention metrics

• High emotional intelligence and soft skills: ability to move from formal correspondence to genuine trusted-advisor relationships

• Full operational autonomy: leadership engaged only at critical strategic inflection points — all tactical decisions are yours to own

• Proven client-facing consulting experience

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring or managing a small team or assistants

• Deep knowledge of incorporation and licensing in key jurisdictions: Curaçao, Anjouan, Malta, Nevis, Liberia, Kahnawake, TOBIC, Isle of Man (iGaming); Costa Rica, St. Lucia, Seychelles, Mauritius, Cyprus (Brokerage); plus crypto licensing across jurisdictions

• Direct relationships with top registrars, Tier-1 banks, and government agents in key jurisdictions

• 3+ years of hands-on consulting experience specifically

• Understanding of iGaming or Brokerage regulatory frameworks
