Warehouse / Packer/ Driver

Job Purpose and Function

Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing of incoming stock and merchandise, picking and filling orders from stock and products, packing and delivery of orders, managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Providing and managing merchandise to various vendors.

Key Role and Responsibilities Assist with filling orders in a warehouse setting. Help manage the warehouse, inventory and package goods as part of the supply chain staff. Work as a part of the warehouse team and in conjunction with other supply chain management professionals. Assist in the retail sector assisting with the merchandising, distribution and sales of retail goods.

Key Duties and Additional Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Loading, unloading, checking, moving, storing, palletizing, picking or packing merchandise and products.
• Managing goods for receipt and dispatch.
• Using forklifts and other warehouse equipment including barcode scanners.
• Keeping accurate electronic or paper records.
• Complying with health and safety requirements.
• Labelling items, products and merchandise.
• Cleaning and upkeep of the general warehouse.
• Maintaining warehouse equipment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Organizing transfers and loading goods on to delivery vehicles.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma with English and Mathematics passes.
• For drivers a valid driver’s license is required - Group 3/4 preferred.
• Two years relevant work experience, warehouse, delivery or merchandise would be an asset.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Clean police record is required.

All applicants must possess proficiency in the English language, both oral and written, must have a suitable Police and Medical clearance and able to provide at least three suitable references, with two of those being from previous employers.
