Role Overview

The Handyman is responsible for carrying out general maintenance, repairs, installations, and troubleshooting activities across Toters facilities. The role ensures warehouses and other facilities remain safe, functional, and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance across Toters facilities.
• Carry out basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repair works.
• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues within the required timeframe.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify facility defects and maintenance needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities on equipment and facility systems.
• Assist specialized technicians and external contractors when required.
• Support warehouse renovation, installation, and fit-out activities.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Report major technical issues requiring specialized intervention.
• Maintain basic records of completed maintenance tasks and materials used.
• Follow all safety procedures and company requirements.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or certification in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or a related technical field.
• Practical experience in general maintenance and repairs.
• Experience in retail, commercial, warehouse, or similar environments is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to urgent maintenance requirements.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
