The Director will identify, develop, and manage diverse ancillary pharmacy services—including specialty, community, and compounding pharmacies with immunization and clinical pharmacy services, —while fostering meaningful experiential learning opportunities for students. This role emphasizes creativity in service development, operational excellence, and alignment with the college's academic mission.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop business plans, feasibility studies, and pro forma models for new and existing service lines, including specialty pharmacy, clinical services, and sterile/non-sterile compounding
    • Design and build operational infrastructure, including workflows, staffing models, vendor partnerships, policies, and technology platforms
    • Launch and scale innovative ancillary pharmacy services with a focus on go-to-market, sustainability, and revenue generation
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators across clinical, operational, and financial domains; drive continuous quality improvement (CQI) and pivot strategies based on performance, market trends, and regulatory changes
    • Identify emerging trends and opportunities to evolve or expand service lines in response to market demand and institutional priorities
    • Develop and manage revenue cycle strategies, including payer contracting, specialty networks, and diversified funding streams
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and payer requirements
    • Collaborate with faculty and clinicians to integrate pharmacy services into innovative care models while supporting experiential education, residency programs, and research initiatives
    • Perform other duties and strategic projects as assigned by the Dean
