Overview
Student library workers are responsible for carrying out basic tasks in support of library operations.
Position Work Hours
5-30 hours per week
Rate of Pay
$20 per hour
Responsibilities
- Apply circulation policies to assist patrons with the checkout, renewal, and check-in of library materials.
- Perform end-processing of Library physical materials, including labelling and creating book jackets.
- Staff the Library Circulation Service Desk
- Refer research and curricular questions to appropriate library faculty.
- Perform stacks maintenance, including shifting, shelf-reading, general tidying, and search for missing books.
- Monitor the library space for safety.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience
- Professional communication skills
- Reading and higher order thinking skills
- Previous library experience preferred
Federal Work Study eligible undergraduate.graduate students attending Touro University California.

USD $20.00/Hr.
