About the Role
Reporting to the Supervisor, Clerk’s Services/Deputy Clerk, the Records Management Clerk coordinates the Township’s records and archive management programs, supports Corporate Services functions, and coordinates legislative and administrative processes including records retention, document imaging, Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, licensing administration, and municipal elections.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate possesses strong records management, administrative, and customer service skills, together with a solid understanding of municipal legislative requirements. The successful candidate will have a three (3) year college diploma in records management, business administration, office administration, or a related discipline, with related records management experience. Experience with document management systems, records retention practices, Freedom of Information processes, Microsoft Office applications, and municipal administration is considered an asset. The ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders is essential. A valid Class G Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle are required for this role.
A satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Background Check are required for this role.

This bargaining unit position offers a salary commensurate with experience and education (2026 salary range of $28.08/hr. – $33.74/hr.).
