Job Title: Accountant

Job Location: Brandon, FL

Project Duration: 4+ Months

Responsibilities:

· To be responsible for sales and use tax compliance matters for the Company and related general ledger accounting functions.

· This position will interact with the corporate tax department, Division Offices, and the Shared Services Centre personnel and provide assistance and support as needed.

· Preparation, review and timely filing of required sales/use tax returns (and similar returns) for the client's North American operations.

· Prepare and coordinate account analyses, journal entries, and reconciliations for month-end general accounting close for multiple divisions.

· Handle routine correspondence with states on sales tax matters.

· Provide the Corporate Tax Department in Atlanta the records required for state and local tax audits and provide assistance on audit matters as requested.

· Ensure compliance with GAAP, Standard Accounting Manual, and other Company policies and procedures.

· Special projects and other duties as assigned. Foundation Skills:

Required Skills:

· Multi-State Sales/Use Tax experience strongly preferred.

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field.

· Experience should include account analysis or reconciliation and/or practical experience in the Sales & Use Tax area.

· SAP and Vertex experience is a plus. • Experience in the beverage industry is a plus.

· Excellent analytical skills.

· Strong computer skills are essential, with proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Internet tax research tools.

· Flexibility to adjust work load and hours when necessary
