Customer Services - Cashier

Summary

We are seeking a Cashier Associate to join our client’s team in the supermarket industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience through proper transaction handling and customer service while ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures. Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient customer service in the checkout area.
• Scan and accurately register products into the system.
•  Process cash, debit/credit card payments, and other authorized payment methods.
•  Perform cash register balancing at the beginning and end of each shift.
•  Maintain the work area clean and organized.
•  Report incidents, cash discrepancies, or operational issues to the immediate supervisor.
•  Follow established procedures and policies for cash handling and customer service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma completed.
• Previous experience in cash handling or customer service preferred.
•  Strong communication and customer service skills.
•  Ability to work in a team-oriented and dynamic environment.
•  Attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately.
•  Responsible, honest, organized, and proactive individual.
•  Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Availability

• Full availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
• 6:00 am to 10:00 pm 

Compensation

• $10.50 per hour
